Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hora Bathrooms website and services. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


1. About us

Hora Bathrooms (ABN: 43664160221) (“we”, “us”, “our”) supplies bathroom products and accessories to customers in Australia. Contact: horabathrooms@gmail.com.


2. Eligibility & account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Product information

  • We aim for accuracy, but specifications, dimensions, finishes and availability can change without notice. Minor variations in colour/grain/veining and finish are normal, especially for timber-look and engineered stone products.
  • Images are for reference only; styling items (e.g., tapware, basins, tops) may be shown but not included unless stated.
  • Measurements are provided as a guide. Allow for reasonable manufacturing tolerances and always check on-site before installation.

4. Pricing, GST & payment

  • All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless noted.
  • We may change prices at any time. The price at checkout is the price payable.
  • Payment methods are as shown at checkout. Orders are accepted only after payment is authorised and you receive an order confirmation.
  • If a pricing or listing error occurs, we may cancel and refund the order in full before dispatch.

5. Orders, availability & pre-orders

  • Order acceptance is subject to stock availability. If an item is unavailable, we’ll offer an alternative or a full refund.
  • Pre-order or back-order dates are estimates only and may change due to supplier or freight delays.
  • Custom or special-order items (including cut/drilled stone tops) are made to your specifications and cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

6. Delivery, shipping & risk

  • We deliver Australia-wide via selected carriers. Any delivery timeframes shown are estimates only.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address supplied (or collection). Title passes on full payment.
  • Bulky items: Large/fragile goods (e.g., vanities, stone/engineered tops) may require palletised delivery at ground level. Re-delivery, tail-lift, two-person, or site access fees may apply if access is restricted or if a scheduled delivery is missed.
  • Authority to Leave (ATL): If you request ATL, liability transfers to you once the carrier confirms delivery.
  • Inspection on delivery: Please inspect cartons on arrival. Report transit damage or incorrect/missing items within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and product. Keep all packaging until we finalise the claim.

7. Click & Collect (if offered)

  • Wait for the “Ready for collection” email before arriving. Bring photo ID and your order number.
  • Uncollected orders may incur storage fees after a reasonable period.

8. Installation & compliance

  • Plumbing products must be installed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local regulations and manufacturer instructions. Electrical items require a licensed electrician.
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered by warranty.
  • Allow for site tolerances. Always check product dimensions against on-site measurements before cutting, drilling, or plumbing.

9. Returns & refunds

Your rights under the ACL apply in addition to our policy below. For full details, see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

  • Change-of-mind: Eligible items may be returned within the stated window if unused, uninstalled, and in original, undamaged packaging. Return freight is your responsibility. A restocking fee may apply as stated in our policy.
  • Transit damage/shortages: Notify us within 48 hours with photos; keep all packaging.
  • Exclusions: Custom/special-order goods, cut/drilled stone, clearance/ex-display, installed or used items, and products not returned in resaleable condition are not eligible for change-of-mind return.

10. Warranties & ACL

  • Manufacturer/consumer guarantees apply in accordance with the ACL. Depending on the issue, remedies may include repair, replacement or refund.
  • We may request photos/video, proof of purchase, and for plumbing items, proof of installation by a licensed tradesperson to assess warranty claims.
  • For stone/engineered surfaces: natural tone/vein variations are normal. Some surfaces benefit from periodic sealing; staining/etching from chemicals, dyes or misuse is not a defect.

11. Bundles, promotions & gift cards

  • Bundles: Discounts apply only when listed items are purchased together in the same transaction. Returns on bundles are assessed as a whole unless a fault affects a specific component only.
  • Promotions: Promotional offers are subject to their own terms and are valid for the stated period only. Promotions cannot be applied retrospectively.
  • Gift cards: Non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and valid for the period stated at purchase.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from delays, except where such exclusion is prohibited by the ACL. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price paid for the goods giving rise to the claim.


13. Website use & intellectual property

  • Site content (images, text, logos) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, adapt or distribute content without permission.
  • You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or introduce malicious code.

14. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our site, you consent to that collection and use.


15. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including severe weather, strikes, carrier disruptions, or supplier delays).


16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of your order applies to that order.


17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
